My question is.. why?
I mean these shoes are extremely uncomfortable and to be honest there's nothing 'special' about their appearance either. I feel like people are just buying them for the sake of showing off those red-soles!
Madonna said it herself "You know we live in a material world, and I am material girl" but girls, stop taking it to heart! I'm sick of people loving objects instead of people.. And that's not to say that I don't fall into some stereotypes with the things I own. But, I will only purchase something because I like it not because everyone's buying it!
The reason why I have a certain issue with louboutins is because that was the one time I gave in and I thought 'Everyone has one! I have to buy it" and to be honest it was one of the worst purchases ever. Those shoes HURT! I'm definitely sure Mr. Louboutin has unresolved issues with women's toes! :p
I mean... there are SO many shoes that are prettier but never become as popular as those loubs! and my questions remains... Why?

ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, not only that Louboutins hurt your toes, after one hour of wearing it your tiny toe goes numb lol. I love shoes, I love everything about them, I love the way it makes you walk, the way it decorate your feet and the way it makes the outfit perfect.
ReplyDeleteI only buy things that I love, it only takes 5 sec to know if you really must have this item in your closet or NOT.
When trends happen in the “khaleeji world” sometimes it doesn’t really appear to you, like the YSL ring, I first didn’t know how I felt about it, then I saw few bbm DP’s and made me think mmm maybe I like it after all. We are allowed to change our mind, right :P (hint: the Miu Miu shoes)

I must agree with you that there are nicer shoes and i must disagree with the "showing off" part cause honestly i love louboutin shoes they are creative and i would buy them even if they didn't have the red soles. Like Versace once had a collection with purple soles they looked stunning. I think the red sole makes the shoe more outstanding and it also blends in with the shoe design. What makes louboutin unique is it being uncomfortable and which makes someone stronger by managing the pain, and makes less people where it even though "5aleeji girls" are buying it for the red sole. Lol well u said it yourself they are 5aleeji after all and trend is what they seek for!

A shoe can now be unique for being uncomfortable? wow. That is not the whole point of high heels.. it's for poise, elegance and appearance. Not how bad they treat ur feet.

Looool yeah the typical 5aleeji's are like a different subject. I don't mean the classic louboutins there are collections that are stunning! like the daffodil strass (L)___(L). I love the YSL new black pumps ! Come on far7a admit they look good but 5aleejis destroyed it :p
